Breakfast Smoothie
- 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup water *
- 1/4 cup raw oats (plain, uncooked, old fashion rolled oats)
- 1 tablespoon ground flax
- 5 whole frozen strawberries
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 7 ice cubes
- OPTIONAL: honey or agave nectar for added sweetness
* I had to add extra water since I used all frozen fruit. I think the smoothie would have turned out better if I had used fresh strawberries, but I didn't have any.
For lunch I had a veggie BLT on sprouted grain toast and a honeycrisp apple. I was so hungry today and this hit the spot.
A few hours after lunch I did an hour of Dave Farmar's Power Vinyasa Yoga podcast. It felt good to stretch and sweat. After yoga I had a snack of two almond fruit biscuit "cookies" with a teaspoon of almond butter and a cup of peppermint tea.

I met some friends for dinner at new local restaurant and we shared a fruit and cheese plate.
For my meal I had a green salad with egg, walnuts and cranberries with a white wine and water.
After dinner we met up with more of our friends at a local coffee house and I had a small, decaf cappuccino for dessert.
I plan to go on a long run tomorrow morning. Wish me luck!
