Midnight Snack & Working Breakfast

I woke up in the middle of the night with a screaming tummy. That NEVER happens to me. I must not have eaten enough yesterday after my long run. I would normally just ignore my hunger and go back to sleep but my stomach had another plan -- eat yogurt. So I staggered into the kitchen, brought a container of Chobani into bed with me, ate it, and fell immediately back to sleep. I wasn't nearly coherent enough to photograph my yogurt last night, so I snapped one this morning.


The 14 grams of protein in the Chobani filled me up so much that I wasn't in the mood for a hearty breakfast. I decided to have a piece of sprouted grain toast with almond butter and jam while I tested some software patches for work.



Mmmmm, melty almond butter.


I'm going to meet my friend Leslee for lunch today and buy a new pair of running shoes. I'm also going to try to sneak in a swim workout. I want to give my legs a rest today and swimming is a wonderful, zero impact workout.
